Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, stoves, and food processors Follow food safety protocols and handle food products with care to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met Assist with meal preparation for daily service as well as catering events, ensuring timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances through regular cleaning and sanitizing Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Experience Previous experience in a food service environment or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety management practices is essential Demonstrated knife skills, slicing techniques, and proficiency in food preparation methods are highly desirable Experience with catering or large-scale meal production enhances your suitability for this role Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff A background in culinary arts or food industry roles that involve recipe adherence, menu execution, and safety standards Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
