The right candidate will help us achieve the common goal of making the best food possible while learning daily. Daily/ weekly specials, flexibility in schedules. Responsibilities Set up and maintain equipment for service/ stock stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, fabricating meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow Head Chef's instructions Clean up station Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Writing daily prep lists Requirements Proven cooking experience preferred but not required understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Willingness to learn A Passion for food
