This role is responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for regular service and special events. Ideal candidates are team players who can multitask, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare food in accordance with health department standards and internal recipes Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils Cook multiple orders at once while ensuring quality and consistency Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen upkeep Support and uphold food quality standards with the rest of the team Communicate effectively with team members and management Participate in a positive, respectful, and inclusive kitchen culture Perform other duties as assigned Customer service and cash handling skills Physical & Work Environment Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Retail café/kitchen setting with moderate noise levels May require occasional overtime Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred 0-2 years of kitchen or food service experience Ability to read and follow recipes Strong communication and time-management skills Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety practices
