Your expertise in food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare a variety of Asian-inspired dishes using wok cooking techniques, including stir-fries, braising, poaching, grilling, and food production. Follow standardized recipes meticulously to ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including woks, burners, knives, and food prep tools. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Support high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders. Skills Proven experience as a wok cook or in similar high-volume kitchen roles within restaurants or catering environments. Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures. Expertise in various cooking techniques such as braising, grilling, poaching, and food handling. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely. Experience with menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency across dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
