The Line Cook is responsible for cooking menu items to completion, including grilling, sauteing, frying, and assembling ingredients within the kitchen for food service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Cooking items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and sauteing Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies for service Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures Preparing food for service, including cutting, chopping, and mixing ingredients Working with staff to ensure that orders are completed accurately and on time Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Required Skills and Abilities Ability to follow recipes and instructions Must follow all kitchen safety standards at all times Ability to succeed under pressure and remain positive and productive way, especially during peak hours Availability with the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail Experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook Experience working in a high volume and/or scratch-made kitchen preferred
