In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and consistency, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests, whether in a fine dining setting or high-volume food production environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in food preparation, menu execution, and kitchen operations while working in a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to detail, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols at all times Assist with food production for large-scale events or high-volume service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Handle food safely during all stages of handling, from storage to plating, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience as a cook or culinary professional in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with fine dining experience Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures Skilled in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely Experience with dietary department requirements and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume production settings Familiarity with recipe adherence, food handling standards, and catering processes is desirable Join our team to bring your culinary talents to life!
