Job Description
Goodrich Area Schools Food Service Baker / Cook Qualifications Work daily in assigned school and position as designated by the Food Service Director Previous experience is not required Must have the ability to work cooperatively with other staff Must be able to relate well to students, parents, school personnel and the general public Willing to take continuing education classes Willing to try new recipes, ideas, etc. Able to work fast and multi-task. This is a very fast paced job. Help wherever there is a need when not busy. Be able to lift 30-35 pound boxes. Essential Functions and Representative Duties Wear uniform while on duty. Must be able to read recipes, order food as needed, and make up food for each days count, and make adjustments where necessary. Must be able to make up special orders for various activities, sometimes on short notice. Flexibility is a must. Maintain and clean all equipment used on a daily basis. Bake and bag cookies daily, cook and fill food for serving lines, during lunch keep slider trays and pizza hot plates full, order groceries for your line and put groceries away on order day, clean your area, occasionally run the register, help clean up at end of day.
