About us Jamieson Nursing Home is a small business in Harrisville, MI. We are professional and agile.
Cook Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes or customer requests
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appetizing manner
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
