Line Cook

Job Overview Join our kitchen team as a Part-Time Line Cook , where your passion for food and attention to detail will help create great dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will prepare and cook menu items, assist with food preparation, and help maintain a clean and organized kitchen in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a reliable team player who enjoys working in the kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality food. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and kitchen standards Assist with food preparation including chopping, portioning, and ingredient prep Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities Properly store, label, and handle food to ensure safety and quality Work with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies Assist with stocking, organizing inventory, and basic kitchen prep Help with opening and closing kitchen duties as needed Occasionally assist with preparing food for small events or larger orders Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required Basic knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Basic knife skills and meal preparation techniques are a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-40 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to follow kitchen procedures Schedule Approximately 12-20 hours per week Evening and weekend shifts may be required
