Overview La Becasse is a French restaurant located near Glen Lake. Open for dinner Tuesday - Saturday (always closed Sunday & Monday). The current opening is for a pantry cook. This person prepares all cold appetizers, salads and desserts. This job requires excellent organizational skills. All of our food is made in-house and is delicious--you can be proud of the food you send to the guests. A staff meal is provided at the end of the shift. We have a professional, fun, and supportive team. Duties Prep your work station so that you are ready to go when service begins Handle food safely, practice safe knife skills Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe environment Work efficently to fulfills orders in a timely manner Produce consistent, high quality plates according to the recipe Skills Experience working in restaurants or the food industry, demonstrating strong kitchen skills Proficiency in food handling, meal preparation, and serving with attention to detail Excellent knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and cooking tasks Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards We are in the business of hospitality, which is hard and rewarding work.
