This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food prep tools Follow food safety protocols and handle food properly to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance and managing portion control Maintain a clean workstation by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely food service Assist with catering events or special meal preparations as needed to meet customer expectations Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Proven food preparation and cooking skills, including knife handling and slicing techniques Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and fryers Strong understanding of food handling procedures and recipe adherence for consistent quality Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Background in the food industry or restaurant experience demonstrating reliability and teamwork Embark on a culinary journey that values your skills, nurtures your growth, and celebrates your contributions!
