This position requires a high school diploma and ServSafe certification. The school culture is Christ-centered and relational with a focus on creating a positive, engaging, and dynamic learning experience for all students. This position follows the school's academic calendar and requires adherence to all school and LHSA policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities:
High School diploma Current ServSafe Certification or the ability to obtain certification. School will reimburse for testing when passed. Must pass a background check. Effectively utilize commercial kitchen equipment. Understand, support, and advance the mission, vision, and values Possess a passion for relational ministry Be organized, optimistic, and embrace a grace-based ministry of service Exhibit a desire to collaborate and contribute to the overall school community
Key Responsibilities:
Onsite work on Monday
  • Thursday from 8am
  • 1pm for the lead position and 9am
  • 1pm for the assistant position throughout the school year.
The lead kitchen position is responsible for planning, purchasing, and preparation for school lunches throughout school year. Assessing and evaluating lunch program on a regular, consistent and timely basis. Follow all health and safety requirements. Implementing and following all aspects outlined in the employee handbook as it pertains to arrival/departure times, dress code, emergency procedures, meetings, and professional development activities, and other daily procedures of the school.

$13.50
