In this role, you'll be an essential part of preparing and presenting delicious, high-quality meals in a lively kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to work collaboratively with a dynamic team. Your contributions will help ensure our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences every time they visit. Duties Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients to support efficient meal production. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food handling and storage practices to meet safety regulations. Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by ensuring timely meal preparation and plating. Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired items. Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive work environment focused on delivering excellent food service. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper knife skills are important for this role. Experience in catering or serving can be beneficial for understanding diverse customer needs. A background in kitchen operations or culinary experience will help you excel in this position. Ability to adapt quickly, learn new skills related to meal preparation, and work efficiently under pressure is essential.
