Full Job Description Position Description:
Position Summary The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely, efficient, and consistent manner while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role supports all kitchen operations within the full-service hotel, including restaurant service, banquets, and special events. Essential Functions
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and portion control
  • Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, marinating, and stocking stations Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Properly store food items to prevent spoilage and waste Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Support banquet and catering functions as needed Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members Adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards Qualifications Previous cooking experience preferred Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays ServSafe Certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to work in hot and cold environments Work Environment This position operates in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, sharp objects, and commercial kitchen equipment.
