Kabob Xpress, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant located in Troy, Michigan! We are looking to hire motivated individuals who possess high-energy, a drive to succeed and great customer service skills! We are currently hiring for the following position: Grill Cook (AM) /Up to $16 to $18.00 Per hour based on experience + tips Full Time and Part Time positions available! Must have reliable form of transportation.

Grill Cook responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized grill station.
• Follow recipes and instructions for cooking.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Work collaboratively with other team members.
• Communicate effectively with manager and team members.
• Assist with prep work, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
• Maintain an adequate supply of ingredients and supplies.
• Potentially assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as cleaning and dishes.

Additional Skills and Qualities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Experience in a fast-casual restaurant setting is often preferred.
• Basic computer skills for using POS systems and other software.
• A positive attitude and a desire to create a positive work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to operate and maintain grilling equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Experience with grilling various types of food, such as meats and vegetables.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Previous grill cook experience or similar culinary experience is a plus.
