Schedule:
10am - 6:30 pm. 40 hours a week. Alternating weekends required. Drug Screen, fingerprinting and background check are required at this location. Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service and prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appealUtilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under productionUtilize safe food handling techniques at all times and store food items according to established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and datingMaintain production records Maintain a clean and sanitized work areaFollow established work rules and regulationsIf work shift requires, properly open and/or close the kitchen unlocking/locking doors & secured areas, and turning on/turning off of all equipment essential to the operationMaintain a safe, tidy and well-organized work environment at all times; clean up spills quickly, wear protective gear as needed (ie: slicer glove), and store wares safelySupport other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriatelyBe proactive in communication; monitor communication posting areas closelyAssist management personnel in ordering and inventory proceduresRemoval of refuse as neededPutting away/Pulling stock as neededThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Minimum of 2 years cooking experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredServSafe Certification preferredAbility to cook "from scratch" recipes, make soups, cook various proteins and vegetables.
