Cook - The Fun Lab The Fun Lab is a premier family entertainment center featuring multiple attractions, a large arcade, and our own restaurant. We're looking for a dependable, friendly Cook who enjoys working with people and takes pride in serving great food. This is more than just a back-of-house cooking position. Our cooks also interact with guests, ring up food orders, and serve customers, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable both in the kitchen and helping guests. What You'll Do Prepare menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, plating specifications, and photos Cook appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, brick-oven pizzas, and other menu items Ring up food orders and assist customers at the counter Serve food and provide friendly customer service Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Keep the kitchen, food preparation areas, and service areas clean and organized Receive, properly store, and rotate food inventory Assist with inventory counts and ordering Help identify ways to improve or update our menu Complete end-of-shift cleaning, including cleaning the grill and pizza oven, washing dishes, and mopping Be able to work independently during slower shifts What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old Must be available to work evenings and weekends Dependable with good attendance and reliable transportation Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Able to work independently and solve problems Quick learner with a positive attitude Takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for customers Enjoys helping create a fun and memorable experience for families Previous restaurant, line cook, or prep cook experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Food Manager Certification is a plus, but is not required. If you enjoy cooking, working with people, and being part of a fun environment, we'd love to hear from you.

$17.50 - $19.50 per hour
