Job Description
- Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a restaurant setting and be passionate about food preparation and presentation.
- Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain food safety standards at all times
- Requirements
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting
