In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen teamwork will help create an exceptional dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Assist with meal preparation for daily service, catering events, or special functions Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality control at all times Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including slicing, chopping, and cooking methods Strong understanding of safety standards in food production and handling practices Ability to follow recipes precisely and adhere to meal presentation guidelines Excellent knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient prep work Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure a cohesive kitchen environment Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus Passion for culinary arts with a focus on food safety management and quality assurance
