Happy Time Day Care Center is an accredited preschool and child care program in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Meals are an important part of our program. We are seeking someone who loves children and cooking. Also is okay working around children of all ages. Our meals are home cooked and fresh daily. We are licensed by MN DHS and are enrolled in the USDA Child Adult Food Program.

Responsibilities of the cook:

1. Prepare meals following the USDA Food and Nutrition Requirements and Department of Health. 2. Order and receive food. 3. Store food following the rules of Department of Health. 4. Keep the kitchen and food storage areas clean, organized, and food rotated. 5. Wash dishes and put them away. 6. Clean all cooking, preparation and service surfaces each day. 7. Clean the refrigerators, stove/oven and sinks. 8. Record food production records and meal counts. 9. Take the garbage out to the dumpster. 10. Scrub the kitchen and dining room floors 11. Be able to lift 50 pounds.
