Responsibilities:

• Assist the culinary team in meal preparation and food production
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
• Chop, slice, and dice ingredients using knives and other culinary tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the dietary department

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or dietary aide is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
