Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and slicers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including slicing techniques and food handling protocols Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control Qualifications Proven food preparation and cooking skills within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knowledge of safety standards in production, food handling, and kitchen operations Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel Demonstrated proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Culinary experience with an emphasis on recipe adherence, meal preparation, and food safety management Ability to perform knife skills with slicing techniques accurately and safely Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
