As a Float Cook, you will: Prepare & Serve Meals
  • Serve meals with flavor, presentation, and nutrition in mind, following dietary guidelines and adapting to each location's needs. Accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions to ensure all residents receive meals tailored to their needs. Support Managers & Teams
  • Ensuring smooth kitchen operations and model teamwork under the supervision of the Manager of Culinary Services. Maintain Food Safety & Sanitation Standards
  • Including proper handling, storage, and food safety compliance according to MN food-code. Assist and perform all cleaning responsibilities as outlined per community. Other Duties as Assigned
  • Assist with special events, including banquet-style and fine dining meal preparation.

This job also requires:
Five years of experience in quantity and scratch cooking. Associate or Bachelor's Culinary degree preferred. ServSafe certification preferred. Strong ability to adapt quickly. Willingness to travel to Vivie facilities as needed. Ability to pass state mandated background check. Physical capability to perform all essential job functions. Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and visitors.
