Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Cook to join our team. About Us We are a fast-paced, Scratch kitchen that values reliability, creativity, hard work, and teamwork. In our small town cafe, we pride ourselves on creating delicious dishes with short ticket times for breakfast and lunch. Responsibilities Prepare breakfast and lunch items according to cafe recipes and standards. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including dishes and work areas. Assist with receiving, labeling, and rotating stock. Work well with others. Qualifications MUST be able to read English (tickets, recipes, etc) MUST have previous line cook experience in fast paced kitchen. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to follow and execute recipes. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods. Reliable, on time, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Schedule - Weekend availability is a Must. We are open Tuesday through Sunday. Cafe hours vary but start as early as 6am and close as late as 2pm. Cook position hours may start earlier and end later.
