It is an extremely busy gourmet sandwich shop and nights and weekends availability is a must for this position. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Maintain proper food handling techniques to ensure the safety and quality of all dishes served. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food industry. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food handling, and kitchen safety practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
