Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and ensuring variety to meet guest preferences Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention Collaborate closely with dietary aides and kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service delivery Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to recipe specifications Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of safety standards in food production and food safety management practices Skilled in culinary techniques such as knife skills, slicing methods, and meal assembly Experience with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and team members Knowledge of menu planning, catering experience, and serving procedures is desirable Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards, recipe adherence, and quality control Join us as a Cook where your culinary talents will shine!
