In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, executing meal preparations, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will bring culinary experience, food safety knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure high-quality food service. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of dishes according to established recipes and standards Execute food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, portioning, and cooking using various kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with safety standards Operate kitchen appliances such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors safely and efficiently Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination Support menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming service periods Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality expectations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service flow Adhere strictly to food safety management practices throughout all stages of food production Contribute to catering events or special meal services as required Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred Proven food service experience in restaurant or catering environments Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills and slicing methods Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Ability to maintain cleanliness standards through proper cleaning routines Knowledge of the food industry trends and safety regulations is advantageous If you are passionate about culinary arts, committed to safety standards, and eager to contribute your skills in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
