On-Call Cook $17/hr-$23/hr Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dependable On-Call Cook to prepare high-quality meals in a safe and efficient kitchen environment. This position is designated as on-call, but employees can expect to work up to 40 hours per week based on operational needs. Candidates with open availability are highly preferred. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals according to recipes and menu specifications. Ensure food quality, consistency, and portion control standards are maintained. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Monitor food inventory and notify management of supply needs. Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products. Support kitchen team members during peak service periods. Essential Skills Previous cooking or kitchen experience required. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in a timely manner.
