$16.50 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our resort culinary team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals for guests. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are followed. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies Maintain a clean and organized workstation Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service Monitor inventory and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor Maintain proper storage and labeling of food products Qualifications Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen staff preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and food presentation Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills Food handler certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Schedule Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required Flexible scheduling available depending on resort needs Benefits Competitive pay Employee meals or dining discounts How to Apply Apply online at Penmac.com or in person at Penmac Nixa.
