Do you take pride in preparing great food and want to be part of a team that brings comfort and joy through every meal? We're seeking a full-time Cook to join our dedicated Culinary Team at McKnight Place Extended Care. In this role, you'll take the lead on preparing well-balanced, delicious, and nutritious meals for our residents each day. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong culinary skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to work in a respectful and team-oriented environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines Ensure meals are prepared safely, consistently, and to high quality standards Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation throughout service Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work station Properly store and label ingredients and food items to maintain freshness and safety Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively Assist with inventory, ordering, and stock rotation as needed Guide and support prep cooks and kitchen staff during meal service Demonstrate teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude
Requirements:
