Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming dishes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with food safety standards Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely meal delivery Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to recipe specifications Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal preparation and service Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and portion control Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills for working seamlessly within a team setting Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Culinary experience or training that showcases a passion for food industry excellence is desirable.
