In this role, you will help provide nutritious, appealing, and high-quality meals for our residents, staff, and visitors. As part of our Nutrition Services team, you will prepare breakfast and lunch meals, follow standardized recipes, assist with cafeteria service, and prepare therapeutic diets for residents with specialized nutritional needs. What You'll Do As a Nutrition Services Cook, you will: Prepare breakfast and lunch meals for residents, staff, and visitors Prepare and cook vegetables, meats, and other menu items according to established recipes Prepare and garnish food to ensure an appealing presentation Set up the cafeteria serving line with appropriate food pans and garnishes Prepare foods in advance for scheduled meal service Prepare therapeutic diets and meals for residents with special dietary needs Assist with the resident and cafeteria serving line as needed Monitor food and product levels for the following day's meal preparation Notify the Dietary Manager of shortages or items that need to be ordered Complete necessary advance preparation for the following day's meals Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and food preparation areas Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Follow established food safety, sanitation, and dietary procedures Perform other duties as assigned Schedule Full-time 40 hours/week 4:30 am - 1:30 pm Weekdays, with
Rotating Weekends What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
