We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Kitchen Prep and Cook. As a Kitchen Prep and Cook, you will play a crucial role in the food industry, working in a kitchen or food service setting. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient preparation and handling of food, while adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and menu specifications
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
• Ensure that all food products are stored, labeled, and rotated correctly
• Collaborate with the dietary department to meet special dietary needs of customers
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
• Assist with cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing storage areas
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and sanitation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
