Job Description

Job Title Cook This role requires living onboard the fishing vessel during fishing operations and voyages. Candidates must be comfortable working and residing at sea for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
The cook with be responsible for safely and efficiently performing the specific duties below: Prepare (3) meals daily for entire crew in vessel's galley Order all food for vessel, pick food up from local supermarkets, and put food away in galley. Maintain clean galley by washing dishes and disposing of garbage Assist crew on deck when set is caught by tossing or catching ropes, observing fish pumps, tossing hook for net, etc. Assist crew in the purse boats when understaffed. Tie net to main vessel to pump the fish Properly dispose of all the trash in designated receptacles when boat arrives on dock Maintain cleanliness of work area Complete all tasks safely Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, or environmental excursions to your supervisor or a member of the management team immediately All other duties as assigned Minimum requirements: 1-2 years' experience
