Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with meal assembly, plating, and garnishing to ensure attractive presentation Follow food handling procedures meticulously to uphold safety and hygiene regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements or new dish ideas based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven food preparation and cooking skills within a restaurant or food service environment Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Familiarity with food industry best practices related to food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
