Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and fryers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, portioning, and plating Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring timely meal preparation Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is preferred Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and support team efforts Experience with meal planning, catering, or dietary aide roles is a plus Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, food handling protocols, and safety standards in the food industry Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
