Duties:

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Ensure the quality and consistency of pizza dough, toppings, and sauces
• Monitor food safety practices to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely food preparation
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking ingredients
• Uphold high standards of food presentation and portion control
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and bussing tables as needed

Skills:

• Culinary skills: Proficient in pizza preparation techniques, including dough stretching, sauce application, and topping distribution
• Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Kitchen experience: Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and procedures used in a fast-paced restaurant environment
