YEAR-ROUND MORNING PREP COOK

RiverWatch Bar & Grill in Chimney Rock is hiring a dependable, hard-working Morning Prep Cook! This position is an important part of getting our kitchen ready for a busy day. Typical hours are 7:00 or 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM , including weekends. Starting pay is guaranteed at a minimum of $14/hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Putting away and organizing food and supply deliveries Slicing meats and cheeses using a commercial deli slicer Chopping, slicing, peeling, portioning, and preparing ingredients Completing daily prep lists and making sure the kitchen is stocked and ready for service Properly labeling, dating, rotating, and storing food Keeping prep areas, equipment, and coolers clean and organized Assisting with other kitchen prep and opening responsibilities as needed

Applicants MUST:

Be at least 18 years old Have reliable transportation Be able to lift 40+ lbs. Be willing and able to work weekends, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Be available for busy spring and summer holidays, including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day Be able to handle the physical demands of repetitive prep work, including chopping, slicing, peeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods Have a positive, dependable, and hard-working attitude
