Job Description
Overview We are seeking individuals with experience in oyster shucking and properly handling and preparing raw seafood dishes. Your resume must accurately reflect this experience to be considered for this position. We are not hiring any FOH positions. Only serious BOH experience and inquiries only please. Pay for this position is based on experience. Duties Handling raw seafood in accordance with food safety standards. Shucking oysters to order. Properly slicing and plating raw seafood. Preparing hot and cold menu items. Executing menu items according to Chef's guidelines and standards. Experience Full weekend availability (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is required. Must have experience handling raw seafood and shucking oysters. Must be ServSafe certified. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Previous shift lead experience is preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. A positive attitude and willingness to assist guests when needed. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy periods. Must have reliable transportation. No criminal background. We do not currently offer any health, vision, dental benefits or any paid time off.
