The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly by preparing ingredients, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. •Pay is evaluated and typically increased after 90 days•shift is 6:15am-1pm Responsibilities Job Description Must be over 21, due to the clients we serve. Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and customer orders in a fast-paced environment. Maintain adherance to Tri-Service food code Assist with truck deliveries. Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy work area. Qualifications Must be 18 or older and not currently enrolled in high school due to our clientele, location, and hours. Proven experience as a line or prep cook, with strong kitchen skills. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality. High integrity, excellent attendance record, and a team-oriented attitude. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under pressure. Effective communication skills to collaborate with management, staff, and owners. An ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, reliable, and brings energy to the kitchen. Food Handlers Certification is preferred. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area at Kilroy's Cafe. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines while ensuring high-quality food preparation. Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent service with a friendly demeanor. Enjoy most Army Holidays off and frequent four-day weekends.
Operating Hours:
Monday-Friday, 6:15 AM-3:30 PM. Work in a high-energy setting, serving some of the most important individuals in the US Army.
