We are a Lao, Thai, and Japanese restaurant looking for a dependable, hardworking person who enjoys cooking and takes pride in preparing quality food. This is a great opportunity for someone with restaurant experience or someone who is eager to learn. Experience with Asian cuisine is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Prepare fresh ingredients, including meats, seafood, vegetables, herbs, noodles, and rice. Prepare sauces, marinades, curry bases, and other kitchen preparations. Prepare dishes to order during service while maintaining consistent food quality and portion sizes. Operate woks, fryers, grills, stoves, ovens, and other kitchen equipment. Follow recipes and maintain consistent flavor, quality, and presentation. Set up, stock, and maintain your work area throughout service. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general kitchen duties. Communicate and work effectively with the kitchen team. Help maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen during busy service periods. Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred. Experience with Lao, Thai, Japanese, or other Asian cuisine is a plus . Wok cooking experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Evening and weekend availability preferred.
