Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food orders efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit card payments, and giving accurate change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas to ensure food safety compliance. Assist with food handling duties, including serving customers, bussing tables, and supporting food safety management practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to sanitation standards and food safety regulations. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a strong understanding of food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items and create positive guest interactions. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining a clean workspace according to sanitation guidelines. Knowledge of food industry best practices related to serving, bussing, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
