This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, within the food industry. Duties Prepare and serve meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools. Assist with menu planning by contributing ideas that enhance variety and nutritional value. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by following proper cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Handle food safely by adhering to food handling guidelines, safety standards in production, and food safety management practices. Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, demonstrating knowledge of specialized meal requirements. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with kitchen staff and team members. Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments and food handling procedures. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering within restaurant or food service settings. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
