About Antonio's Antonio's Italian Restaurant is a locally owned and operated restaurant that has been serving the Lewisville community for six years. We take pride in preparing quality Italian food and creating a welcoming experience for our guests. We're looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You don't have to be an expert in Italian cuisine to apply. We're interested in people who either have experience cooking Italian food OR have a genuine passion for cooking and want to learn. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Positive, dependable, and hardworking Passionate about cooking and learning Experienced with Italian cuisine or excited to learn Italian cooking Able to work well in a fast-paced kitchen Comfortable following recipes and maintaining consistency Organized and committed to keeping a clean workstation Able to listen, take direction, and work as part of a team Comfortable using knives and standard kitchen equipment Willing to learn and improve their cooking skills Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Antonio's recipes and standards Complete daily food prep, including meats, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients Prepare and cook proteins to the proper temperature and doneness Prepare pasta, sauces, vegetables, and other Italian dishes Learn and execute Antonio's cooking techniques and recipes Follow proper portioning and presentation standards Properly label, date, rotate, and store food Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Work together with the kitchen team to get quality food to our guests accurately and on time Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other kitchen responsibilities as needed Experience Previous restaurant or line cook experience is preferred, especially experience with Italian food, but we are willing to train the right person.
