Follow established recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, mixers, and food prep tools. Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices to ensure a hygienic environment. Support high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow and timely delivery of orders, contributing to a positive work environment. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering setting, with a focus on high-volume production. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and recipe adherence. Excellent knife skills and proficiency operating various kitchen equipment safely. Background in food safety management and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards during busy service times. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs.
