The ideal candidate will assist in preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety and presentation standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with culinary experience to develop their skills further and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble components according to menu specifications, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients Assist in cooking and plating dishes, ensuring consistency and quality Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area Support menu planning by assisting with ingredient inventory and ordering Maintain proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and service Assist with catering events and special meal preparations as needed Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, organized, and functioning properly Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and uphold high standards of food presentation Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Culinary experience or training is a plus Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with staff members This position is vital to delivering exceptional dining experiences through quality meal preparation.
