Our restaurant is open from 8am- 3pm Wednesday through Monday (closed on Tuesdays). We are seeking a cook that knows both breakfast and lunch cooking styles and is used to short order small kitchen work. Position will be part-time at first with an opportunity for more shifts after training is complete. Great atmosphere and family feel restaurant. Position will go quick! Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Provide support to dietary aides and other kitchen staff as required. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook for breakfast and lunch items. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety practices. Experience in high-volume cooking environment is preferred. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and working well with others. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
