Full-time | Early morning/day shifts Position Overview Round Bagels & Donuts is looking for an experienced, fast, and highly efficient Grill Cook who thrives in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment. Speed, efficiency, and consistency on the grill are essential for this position. We need someone who can handle a heavy ticket volume, manage multiple orders at once, stay organized, and consistently put out quality food—even during our busiest rushes. Just as important, we are looking for someone who is a strong team player . Our kitchen works best when everyone communicates, helps one another, and treats coworkers with respect. The right person will bring a positive, professional attitude to work and be someone the rest of the team can depend on. This is not an entry-level cooking position . We are looking for an experienced cook who can work quickly and independently while still being a supportive part of the team. Key Responsibilities Execute the grill station at a very fast and efficient pace Handle high ticket volume while maintaining accuracy and food quality Manage multiple orders and cook times simultaneously Maintain awareness of ticket flow and communicate effectively with the line Keep the grill station clean, stocked, and organized throughout service Complete prep and restocking as needed Work cooperatively with other team members during busy service Step in and assist other stations when needed Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during stressful rushes Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work Qualifications 3+ years of professional grill/cooking experience preferred Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant Exceptional speed, efficiency, and multitasking ability Ability to stay calm and organized during intense rushes Strong understanding of food timing and ticket management Dependable, punctual, and consistent Strong team player who works well with different personalities Respectful and professional with coworkers Communicates clearly and takes direction and feedback well Willing to help wherever needed to keep service running smoothly Excellent references required Schedule & Work-Life Balance Part-time/Full-time Early morning shifts — get your nights free
