As a Cook, you'll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by: Cooking fresh, high-quality meals including baking, roasting, and grilling, all meeting our high standards for flavor, presentation, and resident dietary needs. Assisting with managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies to minimize waste. Maintaining a safe, organized, and sanitary kitchen in line with all food safety guidelines. Keeping accurate records for inventory and food temperatures. Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members.What We're Looking For:
1+ years of cooking experience, particularly in high-volume settings such as catering, banquets, buffets, or senior living. Ability to work early, mid, or early-evening shifts (no late nights!). A valid Food Handler's Card where required by state regulations. Strong communication skills, with expertise in reading recipes, labels, and adjusting serving sizes. Commitment to professional appearance and safety, including wearing a proper uniform, slip-resistant shoes, and gloves as required. Why Choose Heritage Communities?
