Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals that meet our established standards and delight our guests. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, safety, and teamwork will help create a welcoming environment where every dish is crafted with care. Whether you're experienced in restaurant kitchens or have a background in dietary services, your culinary skills will contribute to a positive dining experience for all. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, slicers, and knives, maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation at all times. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, adhering to safety standards in production, and managing food safety protocols diligently. Maintain a clean and organized work area by cleaning utensils, equipment, and work surfaces regularly to ensure a hygienic environment. Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or a bar/grill preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production. Skilled in food preparation techniques including slicing, chopping, and portioning using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, slicers, and other culinary tools. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen and wait staff. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations. A passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality food handling and presentation.
